Papi

Papi! Daddy! I love him so much! Mommy got this picture of us snuggling together chest to chest. I like listening to his heartbeat. His scruffy beard is a good massage for my head as well. Mommy says I look just like him and that he should have carried me and went through labor. I'm not sure if mommy knows how these things work, daddies can't have the babies.



PS-No, I'm not sucking my thumb, I just like to keep my hand by my face. Don't believe me? Check out my ultrasounds, my hands are always near my face.

Funny Face

Here's a funny face of mine. I was really stretching and trying to get comfortable so I could sleep in mommy's arms. However, she kept taking dumb photos of me.

Outside

Mommy had to take me outside. She said I was really cranky. I wasn't cranky, I was sleepy...I think. I liked outside, but it was too bright, I need shades. I'm too cool for this sunshine, too cool for this sunshine.

Uncle Robert

This is my Uncle Robert. I have another uncle, Tio Riki, but I haven't met him yet. My uncle came over one day and surprised mommy. Mommy was so happy to see him that she quickly handed me over to him. I like him, his chest is big and warm and perfect for snuggles.

Sleepy

I'm so sleepy. I need a hand to prop me up. Sometimes mommy and daddy cry for joy when I am sleeping.

Mommy

Here's me and my mommy. She's funny. She feeds me, changes me and she smells like yummy milk.

Church

Here I am getting ready to go to church for the first time. It was cool, except for getting strapped in the carseat. I hate that part. I cried and cried and mommy said that I was scaring daddy and that he wouldn't let us out the house again. So I stopped crying then.

Church was nice. The music was loud and the clapping scared me out of my sleep. I mostly slept through it except for once when mommy thought I was waking up and about to cry. She took me to the back to feed me, but I was really just having an intense dream. I wasn't hungry.

One of the elders announced that I was in church and lots of people stopped by afterwards to see me. Again, I stayed sleep during most of it. I like church, it's a nice place for a nap :)

Naked

This is not cool. A man shouldn't have his dignity ripped to shreds by posting his milk belly on the internets. Not cool at all mommy. Not cool.



PS-Today my uncle Robert graduates from school. He learned HVAC and some other cool things that I don't know what they mean. Congratulations uncle.

Wanna eat them

Just kidding, I'm talking to them. Mommy says that they don't talk back, but what does she know. We have great conversations in the crib. About what? Well, mostly about the Theory of Matter and Energy: Conservation of Matter and Energy, but sometimes we chat about celebrity gossip. Did you know Justin Timberlake got married?

Birthday Fun!

Me and my papi are celebrating his birthday and my two week birthday. Abuela got Angry Birds decorations, I like it.

Halloween again

A guy can never have too many jumpers, right? This Halloween jumper was a gift from a lady at our church. Mommy and daddy said that I will be wearing my Halloween jumpers for longer than Halloween since they are so warm and comfy. Oh, did I tell you about the time I met my banker, Julia? Well, I have my very own banker and she's been looking forward to meeting me for a while. Daddy and mommy said that she was the banker who helped them set up accounts when they first got married and moved into our house. Wow, that's a long time to know a banker.

Trick or treat

Here I am ready for trick or treating, but mommy and daddy didn't let me go trick or treating :( Instead I visited our neighbors and looked at thier decorations, then I had to go to bed. Maybe next year I can go trick or treating. Oh, do you like my jumper? My abuela got it for me and mommy got me a basket, but there wasn't any candy inside :(

J and grandma

Me with my grandma. She's so funny. She sings to me a lot, but the words always sound different. Mommy says that she makes up the songs for me, I like her voice.

My abuela got me an owl, un búho. His name is Clark Kent due to the Superman fabric. Its so cute, according to mommy. I think it's cool .

PPS-I have a funny story for you. Mommy forgot my doctor's appointment, so I'm going to see him today. Yep, she thought it was yesterday, but it was really scheduled for MONDAY! Poor mommy, she's forgetting things already and I have barely started giving her trouble.

The hospital gave us a cake to celebrate my arrival. Daddy and mommy waited until I came home to eat it. In fact we ate it on daddy's birthday and my 2 week birthday.

First outing

I went out with mommy and daddy! We went to outback for lunch. It was a bit boring so I went to sleep.

1 month

Today I am one month old. Let the celebrations begin!

First doctor's visit

I had my first appointment with my pediatrician. Mommy, daddy and I were very excited, until the shots were given and blood was taken. Daddy wasn't happy at all, but I am healthy despite my rough start.

Swing time

I like my swing. Mommy and Daddy also like my swing a lot. Sometimes it makes me sleepy. Maybe that's why mommy and daddy like it so much.
